Based on the true story of Henri Charriere, also known as Papillon, which is French for ‘butterfly’ (the character even sports a large tattoo of a butterfly. A petty criminal, Papillon is wrongly convicted of murder and sentenced to life in a French penal colony in ‘Guiane’ (French Guiana, South America). Papillon is determined to escape but attempt after attempt meets with difficulty, resulting in eventual recapture. He continues his attempts to escape despite incarcerations in solitary confinement as punishment.

The story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and the others didn’t end with the destruction of the Death Star - it continues in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. It all starts out a quiet summer day at a campground in Upstate New York. Families have gathered in the sullen isolation to enjoy the lazy summer days. Carmine, the oldest camper in the group, leads this year’s adventure into the woods. A group of teens follow. This summer is not the same as the last as the group decides to cross the forbidden river that leads off camp property. Joe, the local among the group, is determined to make a prank of the outing and take the vulnerable city kids to the infamous Cappy’s cabin. Cappy, a campfire tale of a backwoods hunter is more than legend. The children come upon a clearing in the woods. It is the cabin. Joe peers in through a dirty window, nothing. He looks further into the deepness of the dark room. A dead girl lies outstretched on the floor as Clem, one of Cappy’s sons cries over her body. The chase begins. If the children want to survive this summer in the woods, they will need to come up with a plan.

When a small town is invaded by aliens from outer space who are capturing and killing the townspeople, no one takes them seriously. Why? The aliens all look like circus clowns, use weapons that look clown like, and all have painted on smiles. Only a few of the young people in the town realize the danger and of course no one believes them. Armed with an ice cream truck they try and rescue their friends.
